Ferrari 328 GTS

What better place to start than this Ferrari 328 GTS?

The 328 GTS is one of the most dependable Ferraris ever made, yet the meticulous manner in which the vehicle has been manufactured, will not overpower the mechanic next door.

Sold between 1985 and 1989, the 328 was the replacement for the 308, often used by Tom Selleck in Magnum P.I.

The 328 GTS packed a mid-engine V8 good for 270 horsepower at 7,000 RPM and could do the zero to 60 mph dash in about 5.5 seconds. Quick by modern standards, extremely fast by 80s standards.

What more do you need? It’s a classic Ferrari with pop-up headlights! And it\'s red, too!

Porsche 911 (964) Carrera

The Carrera 2 Turbo Coupe is essentially a safer version of the 911.
Even though over 85% of the standard components have been transformed, the silhouette remained faithful to the classic lines of the 911.

The upside is the excellent ride quality. It\'s certainly no slouch. Through the wizardry of improved aerodynamics, its suspension soaks up the fractures of potholes and hefty impact whilst upholding the excellent body control required by a machine that boasts a top speed of 163 mph and 0-60 coming up in just over 5 seconds.

A rear spoiler, that automatically pops up at 50 mph results in improved down force, whilst doubling-up the capacity for air intake for better engine cooling. An anti-lock dual assisted braking system, progressive power steering, 3-way catalytic converter and a ten-year anti-corrosion warranty should ensure there is plenty of interest in this vehicle.
