At Kahn Design our range of personalised registration plates has something for every individual and occasion – which makes the perfect gift for anyone with a passion for cars.

This makes number plates ideal gifts to surprise loved ones with. You could also give someone the certificate and a pair of plastic plates all nicely wrapped up for a special occasion.

Can I buy a registration as a gift and keep it until I am ready to present it?

Of course. At the time of purchase the registration can be supplied on a certificate, with the name of the person the gift is for stated on it. It’s not even necessary to own a vehicle to purchase one. Therefore, no vehicle documents are necessary until the transfer.

Can a mark be held indefinitely?

The DVLA charge a standard fee of £25 to renew the certificate annually. So when the time comes to assign the registration to a vehicle, there will be no additional cost, as the assignment fee will have already been paid for.

Can I keep it hush hush?

If you wish to make your purchase a safe secret, you may request that the certificate to be delivered to an address other than your own, for example, a neighbours’, a work or relative’s address. Just let us know at the time of purchase and we will do the rest.

Value

As personalised number plates continue to increase in value, it seems that people are finding them increasingly attractive in nature. This could be to do with the astonishing increases in value and return certain buyers have enjoyed recently.

Precious metal values change daily. Stocks and shares can be up one day and down the next. There’s not really any such thing as a “safe investment” anymore. This is where we come in. Believe it or not, the value of high quality cherished plates is only increasing.
