The Defender is more than just a mode of transportation - the iconic vehicle has become the veritable fashion accessory thanks to A. Kahn Design.
The striving for perfection central to the Kahn brand is evident in every detail of the Kahn Defender 2.2 TDCI SW 90 – Chelsea Wide Track.
The vehicle’s aerodynamic styling package, which serve to enhance the Defender's looks without messing with the original design of the vehicle include: front and rear wings, extended wheel arches, side vents and the X-Lander grille (the colour can be specified as per your liking).
The Defender also gets Kahn wheels and a 'Chelsea Truck Company' spare wheel cover…
As for the bespoke touch, the vehicle gets a rather special billet and leather steering wheel, Harris Tweed inserts, a redesigned instrument panel, front and rear GTB seats are available as per the buyer's preference. Unlike the Defender 110, which gets a bench in the second row, the Defender 90 boasts two individual seats at the back, much like the ones in the front.
The engine is the same as that found in the Defender that comes from the LR factory: a 2.2-litre turbodiesel unit that makes 122hp. A. Kahn Design offers an automatic transmission (in-house conversion) too. Power is sent to all four wheels.
To top it all off, expect some subtle Kahn and Chelsea Truck Company branding on (and inside) the vehicle, exuding a certain charm which goes hand in hand with both fashion and all things automotive.
However, we provide our customers with the opportunity to express one's individuality and they can have whatever they want. Afzal Kahn will add your personally requested luxury style and taste to the equation making you feel even more at home than you already are. He could, for example, design for you a vehicle with an interior the same shade of your living room, the choice is yours.
A. Kahn Design is for the individual who will not submit to a life of uniformity and who will only accept perfection. Dedicated to the creation of luxury bespoke vehicles, we redesign the ordered monotony of mass produced vehicles and rebuild them into individually tailored creations.
