Senior Warehouse Operative

JOB DESCRIPTION

Kahn Design requires a senior warehouse operative to assist within the logistics department. The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience and will be able to multitask in a busy warehousing and production environment

The job role will include:

Assisting in unloading suppliers deliveries, using mechanical handling aids where necessary and ensuring the paperwork is completed correctly.

To take sales orders from the system.
To ensure the completed order is placed in the correct bay for loading.
To ensure returned goods are put back into the appropriate stock bay and the paperwork forwarded to the accounts office for a credit note to be raised for the customer returns procedure at all times.
To ensure all morning/afternoon deliveries are correctly loaded.
To respond to all customer requests and communicate all information to relevant personnel.
To be pleasant, co-operative and polite in all interaction with customers and colleagues. To uphold and respect the good standing of the company at all times.
To carry out any other tasks, which you are reasonably, requested to do within the health and safety regulations.
To liaise with logistics couriers and to ensure the safe dispatch is completed with all relevant paperwork completed

Previous warehouse experience
Good interpersonal skills
Good customer service skills
Team PlayerThe ability to work to deadlines and targets
Must have a valid UK drivers license
